Harvest 2021

Harvest 2021

Winter 2020-21, unlike previous years, was characterized by a two-month snowfall. Subsequently, due to the rise in temperatures in mid-February, there was an advance in the vegetative cycle of the plant. In June the rainfall was low with average high temperatures, with a subsequent very hot July. In August they have exceeded several times 30°C, fortunately followed from the end of the month onwards by days with strong temperature changes. This allowed the grapes to cool off and keep better, reaching the harvest period in excellent health. The bunches, in fact, appeared fresh and turgid.
The harvest began around the middle of the month, in line with the last seasons, but with a slightly lower yield than the previous year.
