Mundus Vini is certainly one of the best-known wine competitions in Germany and was founded by Meininger Verlag.

The vineyards, in the hands of the same family since the end of the nineteenth century, the period in which Castellari Bergaglio wine production began, have their roots in a highly suitable area, between the Rovereto hamlet of the municipality of Gavi and the municipality of Tassarolo .

We are proud to share another truly prestigious achievement: at the 20th edition of the Pescara Wine Festival, an international showcase of Italy's most renowned winemaking, our Gavi di Gavi Rolona was awarded the title of Best White Wine of Italy.

Coming from Gavi Tassarolo, one crosses an entirely sunny plateau, exposed to subtle sea breezes, where the 300 meters above sea level generate significant temperature ranges between day and night, and in these enchanting positions, a sign indicates the Castellari Bergaglio vineyards, located right between the two municipalities.

Vita – Representative company of the Castellari Bergaglio area is located in the Rovereto area, a hamlet of Gavi. We met Marco Bergaglio who today runs it, enhancing the history of the family, which has long been a protagonist in the production of Gavi. Precisely continuity is synonymous with the security of constant and linear work, based on healthy shared principles.
