Harvest 2020

Harvest 2020

The winter climate was dry and mild with little rainfall, which led to an advance in the vegetative cycle of the plant and an early budding in March.
Spring instead has maintained its typical characteristics of variability with rains very useful to the health of the vineyards.
In June there was a slowdown in the development of the plant due to heavy rainfall and high temperatures above average.
Also July and August were confirmed as variable and in particular in these months there was a phenomenon of strong luminous intensity that, in some cases, caused signs of sunburn on the grapes.
Finally, the month of September was marked by temperature changes, very favorable to the health and quality of the grapes.
Do not forget that the work between the rows of this vintage was characterized by the COVID-19 and all the difficulties that resulted from it that were still managed in an even better way than expected.
